Here are my recommendations as to how
to set up and who with, but please feel free to look around for
better deals - prices and offers change all the time on the internet
- by the time this site is a few days old you can bet that some of
the info in it somewhere will be out of date!
Further down the page are my recommendations as
to what to sell with a brief explanation as to why I've selected
each item and/or what I expect you to be able to get out of
them.
RECOMMENDED E-MAIL
PROVIDERS
Your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) who will
probably provide you with at least one e-mail address for
free. This will usually download mail to your PC (ie it's
PC-based). This means that you can read your mail without
being online, but you use up your own computer's
memory.
Your
Website-Host if you have one, because this will mean
that your e-mail address is very similar to your site address, which
gives a very professional image. It's also usually a free
service if you have paid website-hosting and can usually be
web- or PC-based.
Hotmail because
it's free and I use them and have never had any problems.
However, your mail is stored on their computers, not yours, so you
must be online to read or send messages. Also, they offer you
a limited amount of memory in the free package - extra storage must
be paid for. This will be required relatively quickly if your
business is as successful as we hope it will be!

BUSINESS BANKING
Clickbank because of the number of features and other products you can
make great savings on once you're a member.
Paypal or
Stormpay may be
required by your product provider - check this out
first!
RECOMMENDED
DOMAIN-NAME CHECKER AND REGISTER
GoDaddy because they regularly have discounted rates on
certain site types (eg .com, .biz, .us, .info etc)
RECOMMENDED WEBSITE
HOSTING
GeoCities at
Yahoo because it's
free and, if you require no other help, it gets the job
done.
Kiosk for beginners because of the range of other services which are included
even on its basic package, which costs almost the same as the
cheapest other paid-hosting provider.
The following RED-HOT tips are the
products and services which I would recommend you look at
very closely; these recommendations are based on a combination of
the quality, price and earning power of each product. I
have selected at least one product from each category, so I'm not
suggesting that people new to internet-marketing start with all of
these - remember to bite off only what you can chew! Most
people should think about starting with only one or two products,
and these can often be those things which you'll need for your
business anyway.
